Trust Sweet Iron Pony 3-Ring Bit, Locked

The Pony 3-ring bit is made by Trust and is ideal for ponies that become very strong in the course and go against the hand. The cheek piece is attached to the upper, small ring and the rein can be attached either to the large or lower small ring. It should be noted that the lower the rein is attached, the stronger the leverage of the bit. The mouthpiece is a special variation of the standard jointed bit, because it combines the action of a bar bit and aj ointed bit. If the pony goes against the hand and there is pressure on the reins, the mouthpiece locks and becomes a straight bar. When the pressure is released, it becomes a single bit again. Thanks to the Sweet iron alloy, the bit is very well received and accepted, as surface rust forms on contact with moisture, which tastes sweet to horses.

Note: When not in use a thin orange-brown layer of rust will develop on the mouthpiece, this can be removed with a damp cloth and is not a quality defect!
