Trust 2,5-Ring Bit Leather

This handmade 2,5-ring bit by Trust has a bar bit with a core made of reinforced nylon, which is covered with leather. The leather is tanned naturally without any chemicals and becomes particularly soft through the horse's saliva, so that it adapts perfectly to the anatomy of the mouth. The special taste of the leather in combination with the flexibility makes this mouthpiece ideal for sensitive, mouth-sensitive horses that have difficulty with hard materials such as metal. The 2,5-ring side piece has a small ring for the cheek piece and a large ring with integrated half ring for the rein. Depending on the way the bit works, the reins can be attached in different ways, the lower the reins, the sharper the bit. In this way, the rider can individually adjust the action and sharpness of the bit in order to always maintain full control over the horse, especially in the course. To keep the leather supple, it should be greased regularly with olive oil.

Note: The bit must be fitted so that the seam faces the mouth opening. As it is a soft material, traces of use may occur due to the horse's teeth. These do not represent a quality defect.
