Trust Sweet Iron Full-Cheek Bit, Eliptical
The eliptical Sweet Iron full-cheek bit is a very high-quality, handmade model. The eliptical mouthpiece is one of the standard mouthpieces and distributes the pressure evenly over the tongue, the interdental space and the corners of the mouth. The long bars limit the horse laterally by applying pressure to the horse's cheeks. The thigh snaffle is an ideal bit for horses that have problems with bending and stance. In addition, the mouthpiece is very well accepted due to the special Sweet Iron alloy. This alloy forms surface rust on contact with moisture, which tastes sweet to horses. To avoid wounds, the bit should be placed in the mouth with the bars facing outwards.
Note: When not in use, a thin, orange-brown layer of rust will develop on the mouthpiece. This can be removed with a damp cloth and does not represent a quality defect!
