Stübben Steeltec, double broken wind-up bridle

This wind-up snaffle from Stübben convinces with its unique selling point - the large, laterally positioned bit plates, which not only effectively prevent the lips from being pinched, but also enable a new type of action. With the help of the bit plates, also called "wings", the rider obtains a direct external effect on the horse's mouth. Despite the massive side plates, which provide additional support and limitation, the bit rings continue to slide freely through the mouthpiece. This bit is ideal for inexperienced horses that need even more support in the form of lateral hold. The special feature of a wind-up bridle are the Perlon cords (also available in the store) which are threaded through the bit at the side and to the lower ring of which the rein is attached, whereas the other end is buckled into the noseband as a cheek piece replacement. This system aims to tilt and lift the bit when the reins are accepted and should therefore only be used with fine aids. Ride-up bridles are especially suitable for horses that are very strong or for very sensitive horses, since the rider (if desired) gains a maximum of control through the double bridle guidance.
