Trust Sweet Iron Baby Pelham Medium Port

This Baby Pelham is a model by Trust, which is handmade from high-quality materials. Here the mouthpiece consists of a bar with a curvature so that the horse's tongue has more room. At the same time, the pressure on the middle of the tongue is minimised, making this bit ideal for horses with a sensitive tongue. The recognisable blue colour is the special Sweet Iron alloy, which forms surface rust on contact with moisture or saliva. This rust tastes sweet to most horses and at the same time naturally stimulates salivation and chewing. The Baby Pelham side piece is variable in use as it can be used with one or two reins. It also combines the effect of a double bridle and a snaffle. When used correctly with one rein, straps (not included) are required to connect the rings of the shanks to the bit rings.

Note: When not in use a thin layer of orange-brown rust will develop on the mouthpiece, this can be removed with a damp cloth and is not a quality defect!
