The Waterford D-ring bit by Stübben Steeltec is particularly suitable for horses that tend to bite down on the mouthpiece of the bit. The Sweet Copper centerpiece tastes sweet to horses and stimulates both salivation and chewing. This increases the acceptance of the bit and makes the horse feel comfortable. The increased chewing activity loosens the horse's jaw and allows it to chew on the bit at a normal rate. The solid material mixture of copper, iron and aluminum is particularly robust and durable.
