HS Sprenger curb bit with slight tongue clearance

This curb bit comes with a straight mouthpiece, with a low tongue clearance. This prevents contact with the sensitive palate, which makes this curb bit ideal for horses with a flat palatal arch. Due to the even contact surface, the pressure is excellently distributed over the entire width of the tongue, which contributes to the well-being of the horse. You can choose between a 5cm or 7cm long underbeam, which can either increase (7cm) or decrease (5cm) the pressure on the neck. It should be noted, however, that the lever for 5cm long suits is significantly shorter than for 7cm long suits and the aids therefore work faster. In both cases the use requires an experienced and sensitive rider's hand. It is important to note that the curb bit is lower than the underlay bridle. As the mouth becomes narrower towards the front, the curb bit should therefore be ordered 0.5 - 1cm shorter. The special feature here are the fixed chin chain hooks, which should prevent the lips from getting caught.
