Instructions for use

• if the reins are buckled in the middle ring, the bridle works in a similar way to a baucher bit with the main effect on the mouth and only slight pressure on the poll
• if the reins are buckled in the lower ring, the leverage effect is increased
• a medium-strong effect is achieved by using pelham straps, which are fixed to the middle and lower rings
• the butterfly snaffle can also be buckled to the upper ring with a chin strap
• the 2-in-1 effect results from the 2 different buckling options, which are achieved by simply turning the bit over:
• bit pressure acts more selectively when the more angular side of the bit is buckled towards the horse's tongue
• a gentler effect is achieved when the round side of the bit is buckled towards the horse's tongue
• if a + sign is visible on the outside left of the bit, the more effective side is buckled
• if there is no sign there, the softer side is buckled
• an occasional change of buckle prevents a habituation effect and dulling of the horse's mouth
