Thanks to the rubber coating on the inside of the spur bow, which is not visible from the outside, the riding boots are protected from scratches and the spurs sit non-slip on the foot. The spur hanger has a smooth stainless steel surface on the outside, so that no friction can occur on the coat due to the rubber.
