Trust Sweet Iron Pony 3-Ring Bit, Eliptical

This Sweet Iron 3-ring bit by Trust is a model that has been specially adapted to ponies in shape and size. The mouthpiece is thinner and the side piece is smaller than with the normal bits. The cheek piece is attached to the upper, small ring and the rein can be attached to the large ring or the lower, small ring. The deeper the rein is attached, the stronger the leverage. Due to the strong leverage, the bit should only be used by experienced riders. The mouthpiece is a standard eliptical mouthpiece, which is very well accepted by most horses. The Sweet Iron alloy stimulates saliva production, which also makes the pony more likely to chew. This bit is ideal for ponies that get very strong in the course and go against the hand.

Note: When not in use a thin orange-brown layer of rust will develop on the mouthpiece, this can be removed with a damp cloth and is not a quality defect!
