HS Sprenger Mullen Mouth Rubber Bit
Sprenger's rubber bits are made of stainless steel surrounded by soft rubber. Because rubber can easily create the so-called "eraser effect", it is important that horses salivate sufficiently. Because the bit is very flexible and soft, chewing and saliva flow is often stimulated, so the eraser effect is not a problem with Sprenger. The rubber bar is very soft and, despite its steel core, flexible, which means that the pressure is optimally distributed over the entire width of the tongue.
