HS Sprenger Novocontact, double broken water bridle
The novocontact dentures are a real innovation because of their unique oval shape. If there is a slight contact between the rider's hand and the horse's mouth, the bit, thanks to its special shape, lies fully and completely with its wide surface on the tongue. This position is extremely comfortable for the horse, which is why novocontact bits are very well accepted. When the bit is pulled, it turns forward in the mouth, which reduces the contact surface for a short time. This means that aids are accepted more effectively and the support is improved. In numerous tests it has been found that double broken "novocontact" dentures are particularly suitable for horses that tend to lay on their hand, become strong or for those that go against the hand. Sensitive horses in particular benefit from the double broken novocontact bit, as they are often too sensitive for "sharper" bits. Please fasten all bites marked with an arrow so that the arrow on the left hand points forward.
