Care instructions

• clean saliva residue under running water after every ride
• dry with a towel

Size guide

• an already well-fitting bit can be used as a reference for size selection
• alternatively, the width of the horse's mouth can be measured, e.g. with a bit ruler or a soft string
• the measurement is taken at the position in the mouth where the bit will later be positioned
• the ends are marked and the distance is then measured
• the bit width should be chosen so that the rings are just outside or slightly above the corners of the mouth
• if the bit is too narrow, there will be pressure on the mouth
• if the bit is too wide, it can move sideways
• in the case of bits with freely movable rings, there should be approx. 1 cm clearance on one side so that the rings can turn freely without damaging the lips
