Care instructions

• rinse under running water after every ride
• dry with a towel

Size guide

• if there is already a well-fitting bit, it can be used as a reference for the correct size
• alternatively, measure the horse’s mouth width: to do this, place a bit gauge or a soft string in the mouth at the intended bit position
• mark the ends and then measure the distance
• the bit width should be chosen so that the rings lie just outside or slightly above the corners of the mouth
• if the bit is too tight, it can cause pressure points
• if the bit is too wide, it may slip sideways
• for bits with freely moving rings, there should be about 1 cm of clearance on each side so that the rings can move freely without pinching the lips
